The Southern College of Engineering & Technology is situated at Chalakudy in Trichur District of Kerala. The campus is ideally located in a 15 acre estate by the banks of the Chalakudy river about a kilometer from the nearest Railway station and Bus stand. The college is housed in a spacious building containing the classrooms and administrative office, which is adjacent to a larger hangar, where a variety of aircraft used for the training are positioned. There are ample facilities for sports like football, cricket, etc. for the students.

The training programme is a combination of Airframe, Aero Engine including Jet engine, electrical, instrument, electronics and Computers and Avionics and provides the students with a equal theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as the ability to maintain the Aircraft, engines and related equipments and systems of an Aircraft in Airworthy condition

The practical facilities include seven Aircraft, thirteen Aero engines and four Jet engines and number of Mock ups and cross sections and Aircraft laboratory. There is a well-stocked library which is being replenished constantly with advanced and latest technical books on various subjects for the reference. Hostel facilities for boys and girls is also available.

The faculty consists of highly qualified and experienced professionals headed by the Chief Instructor who is approved and appointed by the DGCA.
