The rapidity of progress in Aviation in the world today, has been so pronounced that this era may safely be termed as an era of Aviation.
THE INSTITUTE
The Southern College of Engineering was founded in the year 1954 by late Mr. S.P.Luiz, F. I. C.E, Ex. MLA. This Institution is approved and recognized by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India vide DGCA letter No. 5 - 20- 11/A1(2). This college is imparting Ab- initio training in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering to cover the basic Licence for Airframe and Aero engines.
